My blog title is soo plain and simple. Well maybe I can’t think of a perfect word to describe how I am feeling.
Though there are some parts in my life that isn’t quite good, I can definitely say that I am happy. Yesterday, I celebrated my birthday with him *kilig* haha. It feels so good knowing that there is someone who cares and loves you. He’s the best birthday gift for me.
October is IT!!
Yay it’s October!! If not for my classmate way back in high school who greeted me an advance happy birthday in a text message i wouldn’t remember about my birthday. I’m turning 23 this October 29, and i still got no plans on how to celebrate it.
Er, actually i’m thinking about going somewhere and meditate. LOL. I need to clear up my mind coz there’s so much trash on it. Hah!
22 Years of Existence
0n 7:45am of the 29th day of October 1986 a baby girl was out from her mother’s womb. For her it was a signal that she was no longer dependent to the woman that conceived her. She no longer gets nourishment from her mother, she had to learn how to suck to be able to eat. She had to breath on her own. She had to thermoregulate her body to avoid hypothermia. Thankfully she survived.
She was then a pre-school, but she was different. She never had a playmate for she prefers to be alone. She never played outdoor games. Alone she discovered fascinating facts of her environment. She watched the colors of life.
She was then at her school age. She doesn’t like the noise that is created by her school mate but she has to get used to it. She watched how human beings act, she watched how their expressions changed by a stimulus. She tried to relate herself to others. Some are comfortable to be with, others are just so so, while some are difficult. She knows she has to face different kinds of people.
A teens life is suppose to be a difficult part of life. Its a part wherein a person search for own identity. But she never had that dilemma. She knows what kind of person she is, her identity is clear. She knows what she wants and she knows how to say no if she has to. But she did experimented on such things but realized that she has to have a certain limitations. She also had her mind set on her future yet also enjoyed her youth and learned how to party. She survived this stage with pride and learned lots of experience.
During her college days her strong personality had trimmed down. She decided to pursue a degree and studied seriously. Then she met a guy that made her happy. But that same guy also made her life miserable. Despite that bad experience she still continue tn believe in love. And she did continued to love..
A young adult, she calls herself like that now. She has a degree and is a licensed professional. She have a decent work and she is focused on improving her skills rather than the compensation that she’s getting from it. She starts to plan for her future. Even though some things don’t go her way, she knows that God had planned a good life for her. Despite how difficulties crushed her hopes and dreams, there is no room for negative uncertainties in her. Because in the 22 years of her existence, God never had forsaken her, she is a God’s work in progress.
Hope that in the years to come may life takes it easy on you. You had been on a rough journey. May you continue to be strong if situation requires it and care to let others know that you have a soft spot too. You had already lived a good life and hope that the next chapter of your life would be beautiful. Happy Birthday to you
What’s on September 21
Today is a very special day for me because today is the birthday of my father. I thank God for having a kind, generous, and humble father like him. I wish him good health and happiness.
If we could recall, today is a historical day for all filipinos. On september 21, 1972, the former president Ferdinand Marcos declared the entire country under martial law. According to my dad, it was about 12am when the late president Marcos appeared on TV, after he finished his declaration of Proclamation No. 1081, all tv programs were cut. Soldiers were all over the streets and the rest was history.
All things happen for a reason and let history become a lesson learned. Let us thank God for the blessings and trials because both sculpts our soul.
