A domain is a site on the internet like http://xaeron.net. This will be consider as your identification label on the web. Most of the bloggers are using blogging platforms like Blogger. It is free but you will only get a subdomain. The URL blogs under Blogger is http://yourname.blogspot.com and that is not owned by you but by Blogger. So basically they can delete your blog anytime and for whatever reason. I haven’t seen them delete a blog just because they just want it but Blogger said that they delete what they think as spamblogs. Also, whenever you promote your blog, you also promote their site.

Most of the people are of the opinion that having your own domain commands more respect. It is like having your own house which is much better than living in an apartment right. Not only your visitors will have more confidence in your blog but also the “bots”. Having your own domain is better for SEO or search engine optimization point of view. The bots will crawl into your site derectly whereas if you are under a subdomain, search engines will focus more on the main site. If you are also into earning money online, particularly into “paid to write reviews”, there are some advertiser that doesn’t accepts bid from blogs under subdomain of Blogger and that is ofcourse because of the SEO thing I have said awhile ago. Blogs with own domains have more chance to be on top of the SERP (search engine result page). Another advantage in earning online schemes of a blog with a domain compared to a blog under a subdomain is that, I have read that in Google Adsense, earnings of a blog under own domain is directly proportional to traffic. Many also feels that it is easier to promote sites with own domain because the URL is shorter, therefore easier to remember.

*Note: This blog, which I considered my personal blog is under a subdomain, my URL is http://glitter.xaeron.net. Actually it is suppose to be http://glitter♥xaeron.net but the DNS didn’t allow it. lol. The domain http://xaeron.net is owned by Ron and I am acting as an administrator to that site. The purpose of having this blog under the subdomain of Chatron is that I want to promote that site. It is an online wap (but you can also visit there thru web in x2 version) pinoy community where you can chat, download files for your phone, share your views and opinions on forums and a whole lot more. Back to this blog, I consider this as my online diary, not my money making blog. It just so happen that there are some sites like Nuffnang Philippines and Paid to Review sites that are good to me and allows me to make money out of this personal blog of mine.

My phone and I are inseparable. Not only I use it to connect with my friends, I also use it to browse the net and in blogging. I often check my blog using my mobile phone ever since I started. Since Momma Tez of Charlotte Victoria asked me last night how I blog thru phone I though of making a post about it.

First you have to activate your gprs by contacting your network provider. I am by the way a Globe subscriber.I browse the web/wap with my phone by using two applications. I use Opera 8.65 (symbian app) when chatting and I use Opera Mini 4.2 (java app) when browsing web pages and blogging. But now there is a new version of Opera Mini that is version 5 which Im excited to explore. It has multiple windows. Don’t know what’s more it offers. But I guess this video explains it all.

The transformation has started. I’m excited with this better and bolder blog. Hosted by (as always) none other than Xaeron and now powered by Wordpress. At first i got confused cause i was used to the platform in blogger but as i explore wordpress, i must say i made the right decision. It has more features and user friendly applications. I am so loving wordpress!

My blog is now a year old and has helped me get to know my self more that is why now it transformed into glitter101

i am now on wordpress yay! I’m not done yet with this blog. This baby needs a lot of tweakings and transformation.

Im reviving this cyanotic, bradycardic, apneic blog. I just can’t let this one go cuz this is my first blog. And to my surprize this blog have pr2. Even my boyfriend couldn’t believe it. He said it might be due to some sort of an error. Gaha! But it is pr2 for months already. Whatever the reason, even if it’s just because of an error or google just loves me im still happy about it.

Back to my so called “bringing back to life” i’ll be needing a cardiac monitor which is in the form of site stats. Hm, i still got visitors who maybe just didn’t intend to go here and stumbled my page accidentally. Lol. Looking at the bright side, at least somebody from elsewhere come by. Gee thanks guys, whomever you are! Hak.. So the cardiac monitors says i still got a big chance for survival.

Next thing that i’ll be needing are the meds. Dopamine, dobutamine, epinephrine, name it! Administer drugs and help the heart to beat.. Ahekz. Administering blog posts is vital if i want to revive this. Post post post!

Then a little bit of cpr (creativity) would help. 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 5 and 6 and 7 and 8 and 9 and 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 1….. Breath, breath… Just a little (or more ahe) tweaks and now we are so close
